Just in case you missed it LIVE on AM630…

Kelly Seacrest of UNCW had a pitching performance that I was shocked to see. He came in with 2 outs in the 4^th and the bases loaded. From there, he struck out the first seven batters he faced. Seacrest finished perfect, 16 up and 16 down. He also finished with 12 strike outs. He tied a school record for strike outs in a game by a reliever. UNCW beat Elon 7-5 and got a big RPI win.

This team is much more than just Seacrest. He is just a minor cog in the machine. They have a great pitching staff with great starters. Their starting lineup is solid top to bottom. These guys have seniors that desperately want to compete in an NCAA Regional.

Check these guys out, they are going places in the near future and have more performances like the one Kelly had still to come.

Oh yeah, not to mention a seasoned coaching staff and respected leader Mark Scalf.
